Our staff have worked on telecommunications business support systems for many of the major service providers across Europe and the USA, developing applications to support order capture, service delivery and service assurance.  Examples of these projects are:

  • Major pan-European telecommunications company:  Provided business analysis, managed user acceptance testing and provided expertise in internationalisation and localisation for development of web-based order capture and management systems for use across 13 European countries.
  • Data retention warehousing consortium:  Member of a project developing a warehousing solution to meet the requirements of the European Union directive on data retention for telecommunications operators.
  • European subsidiary of a US 'big four' telco:  Led the development and pan-European rollout of systems for order management, off-net voice service delivery and web-based order capture for product resellers. Directed in-house and outsourced development teams based in Europe, the USA and Asia.
  • Leading provider of mobile network infrastructure:  Implemented a call tracking and repair management system for use by customer services operators and field engineers in three European countries. Built interfaces with existing product-specific problem diagnosis systems.
  • Major US carrier:  Delivered problem resolution system to front-line call handling staff following the deregulation of the US telecommunications industry. Delivered business processes and a technical solution for problem diagnosis and resolution in newly established call centres.
  • European national PTT:  Deployed frame relay fault diagnosis knowledge to call centre staff via a problem resolution application in order to increase front line call fix rates.
  • UK merged cable TV and mobile service provider:  Amalgamated systems (following company merger) for managing mobile phone billing and service problems, and deployed across the new call centre structure.
  • UK utility company owning an ISP:  Knowledge management consultant delivering problem resolution system for call-handlers covering telecommunications products.
